A other smaller bugfix release with hopefully big consequences.
Sometimes your task database gets slightly corrupted. This can
happen when using multiple devices and you delete a project (or task)
on one device and make modifications to that project on another
(which has not yet seen the deletion).
In such a case OmniFocus will usually restore the previously deleted
project and make modifications to it.
FocusGTD previously simply “made up” the missing project (out of thin air) which typically was a cause for a few empty projects without title in your database.
With this new release, FocusGTD will do its best to re-create a
“meaningful” version of the project. For many users this should
produce much better results (and eliminate those empty projects/tasks).
For certain corner cases it will still create empty entries to
your database. If you happen to still come across those (being created with 3.0.26 or higher), please let me know.
- IMPROVEMENT: improved restoring of previously deleted elements (should reduce tasks/tags with empty title)
As always, the version has been released to the testers group and
will be rolled out to the public in the coming days
(unless problems occur).
